Omega 3 Fatty Acids
Omega 3 fatty acids are polyunsaturated essential fatty acids that are needed for the human system to function properly. Omega 3's like EPA (Eicosapentaenoic Acid) and DHA (Docosahexaenoic Acid) play a crucial role in the development of our brain, eyes and heart (cardiovascular system).
Some of the popular food sources of omega 3's include fatty fish (salmon, tuna, sardines), flaxseed, walnuts, cod liver oil, eggs, and milk. While these are good sources of omega 3 fatty acids, one may wish to supplement their diet with supplements such as Shrey's Shreyvit Forte which is an excellent source of DHA and EPA.
